Gold Prices Continue to Decline in Chennai; 22K Gold Falls ₹160 per Gram

Gold prices in Chennai extended their downward trend on Tuesday, July 7, bringing further relief to jewellery buyers.

According to the latest bullion market rates, 22-carat gold fell by ₹160 per gram to ₹13,400, while 18-carat gold declined by ₹100 per gram to ₹11,200.

24-carat gold is now priced at ₹14,618 per gram, down by ₹175 from the previous trading session.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged in the Chennai retail market, with one gram of silver continuing to be sold at ₹250.
