New Year Restrictions in Mamallapuram & ECR: Police Advisory Issued
Ahead of New Year celebrations, the police have issued strict guidelines to star hotels and resorts located in Mamallapuram and along Chennai’s East Coast Road (ECR) to ensure public safety and maintain law and order.
Key Police Guidelines
- Entertainment programs are not permitted after 1:00 AM during New Year celebrations
- On December 31, swimming pools must be closed after 6:00 PM
- Hotels and resorts have been warned of strict action in case of rule violations
Police officials stated that these measures are being enforced to prevent accidents, ensure tourist safety, and manage large crowds expected during New Year celebrations along the coastal belt.
Hotel managements, event organizers, and tourists are advised to strictly follow the guidelines and cooperate with authorities for a safe and peaceful New Year.
