Awards Presented to Social Workers in Chennai
The Wisdom Arima Sangam conducted an awards ceremony in T. Nagar to honor individuals who have made notable contributions in social service.
Among the awardees were Sai Sankara Panchapakesan, Chairman of Sai Thunai Matrimonials, and K. Gopinath, State General Secretary of the Tamil Nadu Udhavikkaram Welfare Association for Persons with Disabilities. In recognition of their outstanding support for persons with disabilities, they were presented with the “Madhippumigu Sevaiyalar Award”.
Former Judge of the Madras High Court Justice T. N. Vallinayagam and D. Kalpana Nayak, Additional Director General of Police (Anti-Trafficking), presented the awards. Welfare assistance for persons with disabilities was also distributed during the event.
The ceremony was attended by former Arima District Governor Ko. Manilal, Sangam Founder M. Murugan, award recipients, and several guests from various fields.
