TNEA 2026 Counselling Begins in Tamil Nadu; General Counselling from July 20

The TNEA 2026 engineering counselling has officially begun in Tamil Nadu. On the first day, counselling is being held for special category candidates under the 7.5% reservation for government school students.

A total of 504 candidates are competing for 38 seats under the sports quota, while 14 candidates are participating under the wards of ex-servicemen quota.

The general counselling for engineering admissions will be conducted from July 20 to August 30, allowing eligible students to choose colleges and courses based on their merit rank.

Students are advised to follow the official counselling schedule and complete all admission formalities on time to secure their preferred engineering seat.
