Post Offices in Chennai Central, Tambaram to Remain Closed on August 2 for Tech Upgrade

Post offices under the Chennai Central and Tambaram Divisions will remain closed on August 2 to facilitate the rollout of Advanced Postal Technology (APT) 2.0, a new digital platform set to launch on August 4.
According to an official release, the temporary closure is necessary to carry out data migration and system configuration, ensuring a smooth transition to the upgraded system.
The Chennai Central Division covers areas such as T. Nagar, Royapettah, and Gopalapuram.
