Today 2nd June will be hotter than yesterday!

Tamil Nadu Weatherman has informed us that today (Friday, 2nd June) will be hotter than yesterday (Friday, 1st June)!
He mentioned this on his Twitter page:
"Today will be hotter than yesterday in Chennai Metro City. With the temperature soaring in Meenambakkam yesterday, there are prospects that today (Friday, 2nd June) the temperature will be very high!
There are prospects of registering high temperatures in Chennai, Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Chengalpattu, Ranippettai, and Vellore.
Yesterday (Thursday, 1st June), the temperature crossed 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
Even though the peak summer of `Kathiri Veyyil` has concluded, high temperatures were recorded on Thursday. The temperatures recorded in degrees Fahrenheit were:
Meenambakkam – 105.8, Thiruthani – 105.08, Chennai Nungambakkam – 104.18, Vellore – 104.18, Puducherry – 102.56, Cuddalore – 102.2, Paramathi Vellore – 102.2, Nagappattinam – 102.02, Trichy – 100.66, Madurai – 101.48, Thirupathur – 101.76, Palayamkottai – 100.58, Erode – 100.4, Madurai Airport – 100.4, Parangipettai – 100.4, Thanjavur – 100.4."
