Fishermen protest from the sea

Protestors are using a unique way to get their message across. Protesting the Kudankalam Nuclear Power Plant, fishermen have taken to the seas. They have stationed 600 fibre boats near the plant and will remain there as part of the agitation arranged by the People’s Movement Against Nuclear Energy. Around 8000 fishermen are estimated to be at sea till 3pm today.
The protest against the plant has been organized today in memory of the second anniversary of the Fukushima Nuclear tragedy.
