NASA releases a map on the recent heavy rains in Chennai
The space research centre of United States of America, NASA has informed that the recent rains in Chennai on 1st & 2nd December have been the heaviest since 1901.

Chennai rains Update - Some shorts spells will be there, here and there ( Tamilnaduweatherman)
As expected no 100 mm (10 cm) rainfall fell in Chennai. No flooding rains happened. No thunderstoms happened.
