Rains expected in Tiruvannamalai, Vellore, Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri districts
Chennai Meteorological Centre has mentioned that there will be a down pour of rains in one or two places of Tiruvannamalai, Vellore, Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri districts.Due to convection, there will be a down pour of rains.

Weather Update : Interiors and Delta to get rains again today
Yesterday interpretation, the models were in good agreement. Bangalore, Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri got good rains as expected. The rainfall in mm ending 8.30 am on 12.10.2016 in Tamil Nadu is enclosed.

Normal rainfall expected during North East Monsoon in TN
The North East Monsoon (October to December) over Tamil Nadu is expected during the third week of this month.Normal rainfall is expected in all districts of Tamil Nadu during North East Monsoon.

Chennai Meteorological centre: Rain will continue - heat will subside
The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that as 2 cyclonic forms have developed in the upper layers of the atmosphere over the Bay of Bengal, the rains will continue while the heat will subside in Tamil Nadu.

Dry weather to prevail in Tamil Nadu for few more days
Temperatures have risen in many parts. 39.6 degrees Celsius was recorded in Palayankottai. In connection with an official of meteorological centre said: There are no rains for the last few days in Tamil Nadu.
