Heavy rainfall expected in Tamil Nadu
Cyclone Warning Division said Kyant will not hit the coast and hence there will be heavy rainfall during Deepavali in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Odisha States.Every year in Tamil Nadu, the south west monsoon.

Breaking News - Cyclone Kyant forms from Burma towards South Andhra coast

Delay in north east monsoon
An official of the Chennai Meteorological Centre has mentioned: A depression over east-central Bay of Bengal, which is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm and move towards the north Myanmar.
