The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are no possibilities for heavy rains in the next 4 days as the low depression cyclonic format has moved away towards Bangladesh.

The depression brewing over west-central Bay of Bengal is set to weaken and move north towards Bangladesh. Because of this there will be rains in one or two places of Southern districts of Tamil Nadu.

Low depression which was lay centered in the Bay of Bengal has moved away to another direction. Hence there could be rains in the next 24 hours in the southern districts of Tamil Nadu.

There will be heavy rains in the northern coastal Tamil Nadu since the well-marked low pressure area in Bay of Bengal has intensified into a depression.Regional Meteorological Centre director S Balachandar has mentioned.

The Depression has moved up so Chennai and north Tamil Nadu will not get winds from Sea as a System north of our lattitude will result will winds from Land blowing over us. So mostly clear weather.
