After battling Cyclone Vardah, Chennai rains have reduced significantly. However, city has been receiving on and off drizzling and light rains on account of the remnants of the cyclonic storm.

Cyclone Vardah which crossed the Chennai coast has weakened and is now lying in Arabian Sea. In view of this, there will be rains in one or two places of Tamil Nadu.

So much rumors spreading about NASA 250 cm rainfall, Elnino cyclone or Maarutha cyclone in whatsapp. Dont believe them. All are crap rumours created by useless people in life.

Cyclone Vardah is now on the verge of fizzling out and is presently seen as a low pressure area over Coastal Karnataka and Southeast Arabian Sea. However, remnants of the system are still affecting the weather over Chennai.

Scattered light rains are expected over the northern region of Tamil Nadu on December 14. The maximum temperatures of Tamil Nadu will be in the range of 28�C to 34�C.

IMD Chennai HWSR recorded 110 km/hr while the pressure drop was huge at 975 mb. Based on pressure, it seems cyclone has made landfall as Very Severe Cyclonic storm itself.
