Every time a tropical or subtropical cyclone gets formed, the warning centers name them so as to ease communication among forecasters and general public. Naming the cyclone is intended to eradicate possible.

As cyclone Nada weakens after depression over southwest Bay of Bengal and crossed Nagapattinam, another cyclone is expected to be formed on December 4 at the South Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

The wind pattern is perfectly alingned towards Chennai and its creating convergence at lower levels. The storms size are small, hence it can not rain at widespread area over the city.

As reiterated by Skymet Weather, light rains have commenced over Chennai once again. Rain bearing clouds have been engulfing the city since early afternoon.
