Light to moderate rain in Tamil Nadu for the next 2 days
Low pressure depression at mean sea level over Tenasarim coast and neighborhood now lies over south Andaman Sea and neighborhood. The system is likely to develop into a cyclonic circulation in the next 48 hours.

Dry weather will prevail for next 2 days in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry
The trough which developed near South Andaman is still stationary there and because of this, there will be dry weather for the next 2 days in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Weather department has dismissed rumours of a fresh cyclone
The Vardah cyclone crossed the shores near Chennai Harbour. The wrath of this cyclone uprooted more than 1 lakhs tress and majority of electric poles.

Northeast Monsoon To End On Deficit Note For Tamil Nadu
Northeast Monsoon continues to be subdued, especially over Tamil Nadu, despite back to back to weather systems developing in Bay of Bengal. The latest low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal.

Rains Escape Chennai, Dry December Ahead
With the formation of low pressure area in Southwest Bay of Bengal, weathermen had predicted another spell of rains in Chennai. However, the weather system was not able to gather much strength and weakened.
