The cities of Hyderabad and Chennai have remained dry for quite some time now. Both these cities have not seen enough rains during the Pre-Monsoon season.

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are good prospects of rain in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in the next 24 hours. There is no warning regarding the oppressive heat.

The weather of Chennai has remained hot and humid for quite some time now. This elongated dry spell can be attributed to absence of any weather system over or near the region. Due to this, dry and warm westerly winds.

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that that weather would remain hotter up to a temperature in the range of 106 Degrees Fahrenheit for the next 2 days in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
