Depression zone formed - prospects of rain for next 2 days
The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that a depression (low-pressure zone) has formed over the Bay of Bengal. Due to this, there are prospects of light rain in the next 2 days in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Rain in Chennai, North Tamil Nadu all set to revive in next 24 - 48 hours
Scattered light rains and thundershower activities have been occurring over Tamil Nadu including Chennai from the past four to five days. In the last 24 hours from 8.30 am on Sunday, Chennai witnessed very light rains to the tune of 0.6 mm.

Chennai might see some stray rains today and tomorrow
If Chennai has to get atleast some stray rains in next 10 days, it has to be today and tomorrow. The Low Pressure Area in Bay of Bengal will intensify into Depression.
