According to the latest report from the Chennai Meteorological Centre, the Northeast monsoon rainy season, which brings more copious rains to Tamil Nadu, is all set to commence tomorrow (Thursday, 25th October).

It is the 5th consecutive day since Bengaluru has not seen rains. Most parts of Karnataka is also witnessing a dry weather for a long time.

In the past day, the rainfall activity reduced significantly over the state of Tamil Nadu. Since many days rain and thundershowers had been splashing the residents of Tamil Nadu including Chennai.

Rains have remained vanished from the city of Bengaluru and most parts of Karnataka from the last 3-4 days. The last traces that the capital of Karnataka had seen were on October 19.

The Chennai Meteorological Centre officials have informed that there are strong prospects of the Northeast monsoon rainy season in Tamil Nadu is set to start in 2 days - 25th or 26th October.
