Chennai to see light to moderate Monsoon rains
Since last many days, Chennai has been witnessing scattered light Monsoon rains. Besides, there were no major differences in the weather over Nungambakkam and Meenambakkam Observatory.

Rains to persist in Tamil Nadu due to cyclonic format
The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that due to the cyclonic format developed in the upper layers of the atmosphere, the rain will persist for a few more days in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Chennai rains to pick up pace soon
The cultural hub of South India, Chennai has been witnessing scattered light to moderate rain and thundershowers since past one week. The last 24 hours were also of no difference as Nungambakkam Observatory witnessed.

Scattered light rains in Chennai, heavy showers unlikely
The city of Chennai has been witnessing some rains on a constant basis. While there was a time when dry spell has taken over Chennai, now, rainfall activity has increased to quite an extent and Chennai keeps witnessing light to moderate showers frequently.

Good chance of rains with the heat kicking in Chennai today
With weak west coast, the activity now shifts to Tamil Nadu for next three days. Unlike yesterday where Chennai was to depend on storms moving in land.
