Potential Cyclone Ockhi gives heavy rains over Tamil Nadu, more showers expected
The state of Tamil Nadu has been witnessing good rains for the past two to three days. While rainfall activity has been on the lower side over the northern parts, however, it has been the southern parts of the state.

Cyclone Ockhi updates - Many trees uprooted in Kanyakumari
Many trees uprooted in Kanyakumari and Powercut in many places as poles are uprooted too. Right now Cyclone is close to Trivandrum. They should be getting very heavy rains and high winds.

Cyclone Ockhi to affect South Tamil Nadu in another 12 hours
The Indian Meteorological Bureau has informed that the new cyclone Ockhi has formed over the Kanyakumari area. The very low-pressure zone has formed and is situated 170 km Southwest of Kanyakumari.

Cyclone Ockhi - Lashing high gusts & uprooting many trees in Kanyakumari belt
Cyclone Ockhi wont make landfall, still as long you stay at home, its safe. Dont stand under the trees. Particularly the Rubber trees. It can be easily uprooted.
