Rain in Kochi, Kozhikode, Thanjavur, Chennai to remain dry
Both Kerala and Tamil Nadu have been witnessing on and off pre-Monsoon activities for the last many days. While the frequency of rains over Kerala is more, rains over Tamil Nadu are comparatively less frequent.

Pre Monsoon rains in Karnataka, Kerala and parts of Tamil Nadu
The southern peninsula has been recording scattered pre Monsoon rainfall activity for the past many days. In the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Friday, Gulgarba recorded rain to the tune of 16.5 mm.
