A Cyclonic Storm, Gaja formed over Bay of Bengal, due to which, winds have converged over the cyclone and the weather conditions over Tamil Nadu have also become dry since the last few days.

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that the cyclone Gaja will cross the coast during the forenoon on 15th November.

Cyclone Gaja which was stationed over west-central and adjoining east-central and southeast Bay of Bengal has now moved further westwards at 6 kmph in the last few hours .

Cyclonic storm Gaja is making sensational news now. It is now said that red alert has been issued on Sunday, 11th November 2018, on the coastal districts of Tamil Nadu and Chennai for Thursday, 15th November 2018.

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that the depression zone recently formed over the southeast Bay of Bengal and adjacent areas is likely to intensify and transform into a cyclonic format in the next 24 hours.
