Maha Kumbhabhishekam festival at Tirupathi - only general darshan to be allowed
The Thirumalai Tirupathi Devasthanam Board (TTD) has announced that during the nearing Maha Kumbhabhishekam festival for 6 days in the Tirupathi temple, the devotees who make a direct visit to Tirupathi.

Tirupathi temple corridors to be closed for 12 hours on the lunar eclipse - 27th July
The largest lunar eclipse of this century is all set to occur on 27th July as per the Tamil calendar year Vilambi, month Aani, and the stars Uthiradam and Thiruvonam on Friday.

Change in the earlier proposal to close Tirupathi temple for 9 days
The Tirumalai Tirupathi Devasthanam Board (TTD) has withdrawn the proposal to keep the temple closed for a period of 9 days during the occasion when Maha Samprokshanam is to be performed in August.

Darshans cancelled at Tirupati temple from 9th August to 17th August
It has been announced that there will be no Darshan allowed from 9th August to 17th August due to the scheduled Kumbhabhishekham.

The temple pond at Tirupati to be closed for a month
Maha Kumbhabhishekham is scheduled to be celebrated in the famous Tirupati temple from 12th August to 16th August. The traditional annual Brahmotsavam festival is scheduled to be celebrated from 13th September.
