If you eat noodles frequently then it`s high time that you stop eating them!!

It is shocking to note that there are many who eat noodles for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The reason for this is that noodles are easy to make. From unleavened dough, noodles are made is known. It is true that noodles are a staple food in many cultures. It is okay to eat noodles on rare occasions. Eating them frequently could result in certain health issues. So, please be careful.

Health issues of eating noodles frequently are

High sodium content:

It must be noted that the presence of sodium in noodles could be dangerous and it could lead to more BP in us. As a result, we can get strokes or heart attacks etc. Eating noodles daily can lead to water retention and bloating etc.

Nutritional deficiencies:

There are more chances of getting nutritional deficiencies when we eat noodles often. This is because of the fact that noodles are low in nutrients like vitamins, minerals etc. Our overall health would be poor.

We would get heart attacks due to high cholesterol levels by eating noodles often. Noodles are fried using palm oil and this is rich in unhealthy fats. These unhealthy fats can lead to the above said issues.

By eating noodles regularly, there are more chances of metabolic syndrome in us. It is noteworthy that we could get high BP, high sugar levels, excess body fat, increased cholesterol levels etc.

More chances of developing type 2 diabetes:

The high glycemic index of noodles can lead to rapid spikes in the blood sugar levels. By this, we could get energy crashes, more hunger and develop type-2 diabetes.

Digestive problems:

We could get issues like constipation and irregular bowel movements if we eat noodles frequently. The lack of fibre content in noodles is the reason for this.

Weight gain:

Intake of noodles regularly can make us gain weight and this would be because noodles are calorie rich and fibres deficient. The refined carbohydrates in noodles would lead to increased fat storage.

Headaches, chest pain etc:

There are possibilities of getting headaches, chest pain etc if we eat noodles frequently. The presence of MSG or mono-sodium glutamate is responsible for this.
