Gut immunity is very important and both adults as well as kids must pay attention t it. The reason for that is both kids and adults could get infections with the onset of monsoons.

It is important to note that gut flora or git bacteria are those that live in the digestive tract of humans.

There are ways by which we could improve our gut health and these are

By eating well balanced diet:
For the purpose of boosting immunity, it is necessary to consume foods rich in minerals, proteins and vitamins etc. It is said that by adding one portion of protein rich foods like rajma, chickpeas, milk, lobiya etc in our meals our gut health would become better. Various infections would be kept at bay by intake of foods rich in zinc.

By intake of yoghurt:
Our gut health would get better if we consume curd that has got healthy bacteria. It is possible to consume yoghurt in the form of lassi, chaas, shakes etc.

By intake of vitamin C:
Vegetables like broccoli, tomatoes etc are rich in vitamin C and intake of these could make our immunity and gut health better. Fruits like oranges, amla, lemon etc could also be consumed by us for the sake of vitamin C.

By doing exercises:
Our overall well being gets boosted when we do exercises such as jogging, cycling etc. By exercising every day, we would get good sleep also. Gut health gets improved.

By consuming super foods:
We must consume nuts like pistachios, almonds and walnuts that are rich in omega- 3 fatty acids. It is good for gut health if we consume pumpkin seeds, flax seeds etc rich in zinc.
