Exact location of cyclonic storm - Surprising weather conditions in Chennai and TN for the next few days!!

The scorching heat with high temperatures that were present in the last week in Chennai and in Tamil Nadu has given way to cloudiness and cooling now. The sky in Chennai and in Tamil Nadu would be cloudy for the next few days. The cyclone Asani has been responsible for bringing down the temperatures in Chennai and in the state. Point is that this cyclone is centred near Andhra Pradesh now. In most places in TamilNadu, day temperatures below normal have been reported.
Exact location of the cyclonic storm has been revealed by the regional meteorological centre now. It is present 30km about east southeast of Machilipatinam and 50km southwest of Narsapur in AP state. The cyclonic storm would move north- north eastwards along Narasapur, Yanam, Kakinada, Tuni and Vizag coast and merge into west central Bay of Bengal off the northern coast of AP. This cyclone would weaken into deep depression and further into a depression on Thursday morning.
Yesterday, temperatures recorded in places like Nungambakkam and Meenambakkam in Chennai were 2.8 degrees and 3.9 degrees respectively below the normal. There were sporadic rains in Chennai yesterday and 3,9mm of rain was recorded in the rain gauge. In Tamil Nadu, Kodaikanal was the coldest yesterday with the temperature at 17 degrees Celsius.
Till Thursday, the sky would be generally cloudy in Chennai and this was mentioned by the meteorological department. Chennai would have maximum and minimum temperatures around 32 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.
For a few more days, the cyclonic circulation would lay centered at the same place and this was pointed out by Mr. K. Srikkanth, weather blogger. Later on, there would be an increase in the day temperatures. He made it clear that heat wave like conditions would not be there in Chennai and in Tamil Nadu.
