Shocking!! At the age of just 48, Tamil actor Daniel Balaji passed away!!
On 29th March 2024, actor Daniel Balaji passed away in Chennai due to a massive heart attack. He was just 48 years of age. This news has shocked the entire Tamil film industry now. His final rites would take place today.
Ever since making Tamil film debut with the film April Maadhathil in the year 2002, actor Daniel Balaji has become famous through his unique villain roles . His body language combined with amazing dialogue delivery brought him many fans all over.
In the film Kaakha Kaakha directed by Gautam Menon and released in the year 2003, actor Daniel Balaji made his presence felt as actor Surya`s friend and villain and it was a super hit film.
It was the 2006 release Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu film of actor Kamal Hassan (directed by Gautam Menon again) that made many heads turn. In that film actor Daniel Balaji in the role of Amudhan Sukumaran created huge fear as a cold blooded psychopath doctor. The film was a blockbuster success is well known. He then made his presence felt in many films like Polladhavan with actor Dhanush, Bairavaa with actor Vijay etc. His last Tamil film was Ariyavan released in 2013. It is noteworthy that he has also acted in few Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada films too. Rest in peace!!
