Students studying in rural places in TN would be benefited by this career guidance poster

Many students study in rural areas is known. These students often find it difficult to know about various courses available to them beyond their mainstream courses. This won’t be a problem for these rural students anymore.
The news now is a person named Banu Chander who is a researcher belonging to IIT Madras has come out with poster of courses or career options for those school pass outs in rural places.
It must be noted that few years back this Banu Chander started a blog that gave information regarding entrance examinations plus courses available. Now he has come out with this career guidance poster for the students and is sensational.
People and many students consider this effort of Banu Chander very high and the comprehensive poster that is posted on his blog plus on many social networking sites are appreciated now.
It is superb that this Banu Chander hailing from poor financial background did well in his Mechanical engineering studies. He then went to complete his master’s degree in Robotics from the prestigious IIT Madras.
According to him many students would be able to continue their studies if the students knew about affordable courses and scholarship opportunities that are available for them.
He had named his initiative as ‘Vidhya-Spurthi’ and it took him a year to compile the list of courses, exams and scholarships. The next step he did was to make it as a poster and circulated it on the social media for the benefit of many students studying in rural places.
This Banu Chander did superbly for those students who did not have access to internet and computers. He also wanted these students to get benefitted. It is worthy to mention that he made hard copy of this poster and posted it to many schools in rural parts of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. Banu Chander was very happy that his posters got superb response from these rural schools in TN and AP.
He spoke about how the teachers in these rural schools took effort and made many copies of the poster and finally distributed those to many students.
It is interesting that this Banu Chander is presently working on a new project titled ‘Uchita-Vidhya’. Under this initiative he wants to list out all the scholarships as well as the entrance exams that students can apply or take for free and that is really superb.
What this Banu Chender has done is amazing and India and state of TN needs more such Banu Chander’s now.
