Skill development training programme to be held for teachers

 State Council for Educational Research and Training has made arrangements to impart training to 27000 PG teachers to enhance the passing percentage of Plus 2. V. C. Rameswara Murugan, Director, State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) in a press release has mentioned: The government has directed the department to organize skill development training programme to the government school teachers. This is being done to enhance the educational skills of the students. For the last three years, the skill development programme is held for the teachers. Similarly this year also this programme is being organized. The programme will be held from 17th August to 23rd August at Erode, Trichy and Madurai.
 
Mr. Rameswara Murugan said that the department has identified three teachers from each district and is imparting expertise coaching to them in developing their skill at the State-level programme. The trained resource persons in turn will impart training to the headmasters and other teachers in their respective districts. The teachers handling the subjects of computer science, mathematics and history will undergo the three-day training.
