It was an evening of relishing the most scrumptious moment. Hotel Checkers carried on with a grandiloquent preparation of Christmas Plum Cake and Pudding. Its a traditional way of celebrating Christmas as the entire family gets together and starts preparing the ingredients a month before Xmas.
Executive Chef Mr. Benjamin, Deputy Chef Mr. Kumaresan and their entire team came together for illustrating such epitome of grand celebration. It was held on Saturday (November 13, 2010) evening as the mixing of ingredients itself savored to the tastes of spectators.
Speaking on this special occasion, Executive Chef Mr. Benjamin said, Such occasions throws the absolute festive feel amongst the people. We have prepared ingredients for the quantity of 300Kgs of Cake and Pudding. It has the ingredients of Black current, Apricot, Fig, Sulatanea, Prunes, Dates, Tutty Fruity, Orange Peel, Cinnamon, Ginger Chips, Nuts, Almond Flakes, Cashew nuts, Walnuts, Golden Syrup, Honey, Spirits like Brandy, Rum, Champagne and other spirits. More the fermentation is done, the more deliciousness we get while crunching a plum.
