‘Brahmotsavam’ at Tirupathi temple: commences on 26th September

An all-departments meeting of TTD (Thirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam) Board was held yesterday at Tirupathi.
Annual Brahmotsavam festival will be commence from 6.00 PM to 7.00 PM with sacred flag hoisting ceremony on 26th September.
Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu will participate and silk robes for the Lord Srinivasa.
‘Garuda seva’ is scheduled on 30th September. Large crowds of devotees are expected to have Lord’s Darshan on this occasion.
Arrangements are to be made for ensuring minimum hardship for the crowd of devotees and the devotees in the gallery watching the Lord’s processions. Black Cats squad will be deployed to monitor the crowds. No 2-wheelers will be permitted on the up & down mountain to Tirupathi Temple zone during 30th September.
The important festivals of Golden Chariot Procession will be on 1st October and ‘Chakkara Snanam’ on 4th October.
Buses will operate throughout 24 hours during Brahmotsavam. Power will also be available without interruption.
