Prospects of rain today (27th June) in Chennai

The weather cenre has informed that there are prospects of mild rain in the northern coastal areas of Tamil Nadu including Chennai. With the intensity of the western winds getting stronger, a low-pressure zone has formed over the northeastern Bay of Bengal.
As there is a cyclonic format developed in the upper layers of the atmosphere over the states lying on the side of the Bay of Bengal, the rain has started again.
Accordingly, the weather analysts have estimated that there are prospects of mild rain in the northeastern coastal regions of Tamil Nadu including Chennai and the coastal areas of Andhra.
Even as the day witnessed a scorching summer in Chennai Metro City, mild rains lashed the city in the evening.
