Catering van catches fire, tension on runway

There was high tension at the Chennai Airport on Saturday as a van that was carrying food to a waiting flight suddenly caught fire on the tarmac. The van, which was heading to a flight bound for Hyderabad, caught fire just as it neared the aircraft. Airport officials and flight attendants quickly stopped the fire from spreading and contained it just as the fire fighters arrived on the scene.
The flight had 126 passengers and quick action made sure that a tragedy was avoided.
