Eagerly awaited Tamil Movie ‘Ai’ to be released on 9th January in 5000 theatres!

One of the most-talked about and expected Tamil movie ‘Ai`, starring Vikram & Amy Jackson, directed by Shankar and produced by Ascaar Ravichandran, is ready for release.
The production of the movie was started as early as 2012. Most of the senses were shot abroad. The music of the movie was released with the popular US actor Arnold Schwarzenegger presiding over the show.
The movie is released in 4 languages – Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, & English.
The movie was censored yesterday (18th December) and given ‘UA’ certificate. However, movies with `UA` certificate are not eligible for Tax concessions. Hence, it is learnt that the production committee has decided to approach the revising committee.
It is learnt the ‘UA’ certificate was given to the movie because of many scenes of excessive violence.
The movie is slated to be released in 5000 theatres across the world at the same time on 9th January.
