To accommodate the increased travel demand during the Mugurtha weekend, the Villupuram division announces the operation of 450 special buses. These buses will ply from Kilambakkam to various destinations, including Villupuram, Kallakurichi, Cuddalore, Chidambaram, Virudhachalam, Tiruvannamalai, and Polur.
Tamil Nadu Government Transport Corporations are also stepping up with additional services. On Friday, 280 buses will run from Chennai Kilambakkam to destinations like Tiruvannamalai, Trichy, Kumbakonam, and others. On Saturday, 355 buses will serve these routes. Additionally, 55 buses will operate between Chennai and Bengaluru on both Friday and Saturday.
Furthermore, 200 special buses from Bangalore, Tiruppur, Erode, and Coimbatore will join the fray along with the regular services. Plans are in place to cater to passenger return journeys from hometowns to Chennai and Bangalore on Sunday.
To handle the surge in bookings, passengers are urged to utilize the online booking services provided at www.tnstc.in and the Mobile App. Authorities have stationed officers at all bus stations to oversee the smooth operation of these special services. Travelers are advised to take advantage of these arrangements for a hassle-free journey.
