Writer Padmasri Sivasankari Felicitated by Sai Sankara Panchapakesan

Renowned Tamil writer Padmasri Sivasankari was felicitated by Sai Sankara Panchapakesan at a literary function organized by Uratha Sindhanai on June 26, 2026, at the TAG P.S. Dhakshinamoorthy Auditorium, Mylapore, Chennai.

Sivasankari, who has made remarkable contributions to literature and education, was honoured with the prestigious "Manitham Potrum Manishi" title. She was previously conferred the Padma Shri by the Government of India in recognition of her outstanding literary achievements.

The event witnessed the participation of more than 300 literary enthusiasts, writers, and distinguished guests. The programme was coordinated by Udhayam Ram, novelist Pattukkottai Prabhakar, and other organizers. The lunch for the event was sponsored by Dr. N. Panchapakesan, Founder of Chennai Sai Sankara Matrimonials.
