The National Testing Agency will conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for undergraduate medical courses nationwide this Sunday, starting from 2:00 PM until 5:20 PM.
Over 1.5 lakh candidates from Tamil Nadu are anticipated to participate this year, joining a total of 24 lakh aspirants across 557 cities in the country.
To ensure smooth conduct, biometric attendance is mandatory, and frisking will be carried out upon entry to the center, as per guidelines issued by the NTA.
Candidates are advised to wear short-sleeved clothes without pockets, zippers, or elaborate buttons. Covered footwear, including boots and shoes, are not permitted. Long sleeves, embellishments, or jewelry should be avoided. Additionally, they can bring a personal transparent water bottle.
Along with their admit cards, candidates must carry a self-declaration form with an affixed postcard-size photograph. They should also have an extra photograph matching the one uploaded during the application process, to be pasted on the attendance sheet.
Before arriving at the center, candidates should ensure that all necessary details are filled in the undertaking form. Eligible candidates requiring special accommodations should bring their PwD certificate and related documents for scribe assistance.
