Suzlon begins FY27 strong with 23% YoY revenue growth and highest-ever Q1 deliveries

Suzlon Group, India’s leading renewable energy provider, announced its first quarter results (Q1FY27).

Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman, Suzlon Group, said, “Suzlon is stronger than ever, and we’re leveraging this to invest in our future. Suzlon 2.0 is underway as we build 4 strategic growth engines with wind lead RE solutions, strengthen our technology, and focus on long-term customer partnerships. All new growth areas are gaining traction. The S175-5x had a strong debut and the S144-3x orderbook is building significant momentum. During the quarter, we also deepened existing partnerships and formed new ones to accelerate our customers’ energy transition journey.”

Ajay Kapur, Chief Executive Officer, Suzlon Group, said, “Our strong start to FY27 reflects disciplined execution across every aspect of our business. We achieved our highest-ever first quarter deliveries of 506 MW, up +14% y-o-y, while more than doubling our commissioning as projects moved into advanced stages of execution. With the successful launch of first FDRE-ready S175 wind turbine and manufacturing now scaled at our Bhuj facility, we are well-prepared to meet future demand.”

Rahul Jain, Chief Financial Officer, Suzlon Group, said, “We delivered a strong top-line performance this quarter, with revenue growing 23% year-on-year, reflecting healthy execution and project deliveries. EBITDA & PAT margins were in line with  ongoing developments, given the temporary logistic disruptions arising from the geopolitical situation, certain strategic investments, and change of scope and segment mix.”
