Special Voter List Revision Camps in Chennai on January 10 & 11

The Greater Chennai Corporation has announced that special voter list revision camps will be held across Chennai on January 10 (Saturday) and January 11 (Sunday), 2026.

According to the official release, the camps will be conducted at all 4,079 polling stations in Chennai, allowing eligible citizens to submit applications related to voter enrolment, corrections, and updates.

Draft Voter List & Revision Period

As instructed by the Election Commission of India, a special intensive revision of the electoral roll is underway. The draft voter list was published on December 19, 2025, and the period for claims and objections is open until January 18, 2026.

Special camps were earlier conducted on December 27 & 28, 2025, and January 3 & 4, 2026. The upcoming January 10 and 11 camps are part of the continued effort to ensure maximum voter inclusion.

Forms and Services Available

Form 6:
For citizens aged 18 years and above whose names are not included in the draft voter list (to be submitted with a declaration form).

Form 7:
To object to new inclusions or request deletion of existing names from the voter list.

Form 8:
For address change, correction of personal details, EPIC (Voter ID) replacement, and marking voters as Persons with Disabilities (PwDs).

Citizen Advisory

Eligible residents are advised to visit their respective polling stations on January 10 or 11 and complete the necessary formalities to ensure their voter details are accurate before the revision deadline.
