Job openings under Hearse Vehicle Service Scheme - Interview tomorrow!

A special job opportunity camp is being organised tomorrow (Tuesday, 26th November) for persons interested in working under the �Hearse Vehicle Service Scheme� (the vehicle carrying dead bodies are known as hearses or mortuary ambulances)
A notification released by the Chennai District Collector R. Seethalakshmi in this regard:
The Chennai Branch of the Indian Red Cross Society, jointly with the state government of Tamil Nadu has been executing the �Hearse Vehicle Service� scheme.
Candidates with MCA or B. E. degrees with 3 years� experience in the computer-related field are eligible to apply for the vacant post of the Computer Manager in the above scheme. The monthly salary for this post is fixed at Rs. 35000.
For the post of the Computer supervisor, the candidate must be a degree holder and should have 3 years� experience working in call centres and should be conversant with computer operations. The monthly salary for this post is Rs. 20000,
For the post of the communication officer, the candidates must be a degree or diploma holder or completed B. Sc. (Nursing Course). The candidates must know typing. The communication officers will perform on rotational shifts for 9 hours in the mornings and evenings. The monthly salary is fixed at Rs. 11000.
For the post of the driver, candidates with a pass in the 8th Standard under the age of 45 can apply. The candidates must have the driving licence for light commercial vehicles or badge licence and must have 3 years driving experience. The drivers will be on the rotational day/night duty for 12 hours each on a rotational basis. The monthly salary is Rs. 9639. In case the driver is appointed in Chennai, Thiruvallur or Kanchipuram district, an additional Rs. 1860 per month will be paid.
In the above notification, it is specifically mentioned that apart from the posts of drivers, the other positions can be applied only by those ready to work in the Chennai Metro City.
