MBBS first round counselling in TN - Results to be announced on 18th of August!!
There are many who are interested in pursuing medical and dental courses across the state of Tamil Nadu.
According to the Directorate of Medical Education Student Grievance Committee, the results of MBBS/BDS first round counselling in Tamil Nadu would be announced on 18th of August 2025.
It is known that the first round of counselling for both government quota as well as private college administration quota began on 10 am on 30th of July on the website.
It must be noted that the deadline to register online and select colleges was extended until 4th August. First it was extended until 6th August and then till 12th August and finally till 5pm on 16th August 2025. The seats would be allocated on 17th August and the final list would be published on18th August.
From 18th to 24th August, the students would be able to download the order for allotment of seats in the colleges. Finally, the DME revealed that some petitions have been filed in the court regarding counselling and the results would be announced as planned if no further issue arises.
