Chennai Metro Tickets Now Available on Uber App

Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has partnered with Uber and the ONDC Network to offer metro ticket booking directly through the Uber app. Commuters in Chennai can now plan trips, buy QR tickets, and view real-time metro updates within the app.
The new service was launched on August 7, 2025, by CMRL Managing Director Thiru M.A. Siddique at MetroS, Nandanam.
As a special offer, Uber is giving a 50% discount on metro tickets booked via the app throughout August 2025. Payments can be made only through UPI.
CMRL also continues to offer a 20% discount on digital passes and online QR tickets (excluding paper tickets) through its official mobile app.
