TNEA 2026: Sports Quota Certificate Verification Begins from June 1 at Anna University
The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) has announced that certificate verification for students applying under the Sports Quota in Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA 2026) will begin from June 1 and continue till June 9.
Online registration for engineering admissions under government quota seats started on May 3 and will remain open till June 2. Online document verification for applicants is scheduled from June 8 to June 20, while students must submit their original certificates on or before June 6.
Sports Quota Verification Venue
The original certificate verification process for sports quota candidates will be conducted at Vivekananda Hall inside the campus of Anna University, Guindy, Chennai.
Eligible students who have applied under the sports category must attend the verification process in person with:
- Original sports certificates
- Educational documents
- Required supporting records
Students have been informed about their allotted verification dates through SMS notifications sent to their registered mobile numbers.
