Special Trains to Operate for Onam Festival from Chennai

The Southern Railway has announced that special trains will be operated from Chennai to Mangaluru and Kollam in view of the upcoming Onam festival.

According to the announcement, special trains will be operated between Chennai Egmore and Mangaluru on July 14, 21, and 28, and August 4, 11, 18, 25, and September 1.

Similarly, special trains will run between Chennai Central and Kollam on July 13, 20, and 27, August 3, and September 3.

The special train services have been introduced to manage the increased passenger demand during the Onam festival season.
