TN Chief Minister announcement: A memorial for former TN Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi to be constructed in Marina
The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M. K. Stalin, has announced that a memorial will be constructed for the departed former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi in the Marina in Chennai Metro City.
The Chief Minister further explained that the proposed memorial will be an appreciation of the various accomplishments of the former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi and also to create an awareness among the present younger generation to know about his thoughts and deeds with artwork at the Chennai Metro City Kamarajar Salai Anna Memorial Complex covering an area of 2.21 acres at Rs. 39 Crores.
