TNPSC Group 2 & 2A Candidates Under Sports Quota Asked to Upload Certificates by July 20

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has instructed candidates who have claimed reservation under the Outstanding Sportsperson quota in the Combined Civil Services Examination-II (Group 2 and Group 2A) to upload their sports achievement certificates online within the prescribed deadline.

According to a notification issued by TNPSC Controller of Examinations S. Venkata Priya, the instruction follows the publication of the Group 2 and Group 2A written examination results.

Candidates who have secured the minimum qualifying marks and claimed the Outstanding Sportsperson category in their online application must upload documents related to their sports achievements earned during the five-year period preceding the notification date.

TNPSC has informed the eligible candidates through SMS, email, and a notification published on its official website.

Applicants are required to upload scanned copies of their original sports certificates along with the prescribed Forms I to V through their One-Time Registration (OTR) account on the TNPSC website.

The online document upload facility will remain open from July 11 to July 20 (11:59 PM).

TNPSC has clearly stated that candidates who fail to upload the required documents within the stipulated period will have their claim under the Outstanding Sportsperson quota rejected.

Eligible candidates are advised to complete the document upload process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.
