AC Electric Train Timings Revised on Chennai Beach - Tambaram - Chengalpattu Route
Southern Railway has announced a revision in the timings of AC electric train services, effective from tomorrow, on the Chennai Beach–Tambaram–Chengalpattu suburban route.
According to the announcement, the timings of three AC electric trains operating on this route will be changed to improve passenger convenience. In addition, AC electric trains running between Tambaram and Chengalpattu, as well as services operating from Chengalpattu to Chennai Beach, will now halt at Urappakkam station.
Similarly, AC electric trains running from Chennai Beach to Chengalpattu and from Chengalpattu to Tambaram will also have a scheduled stop at Urappakkam. The new halt is expected to benefit daily commuters traveling from the rapidly developing Urappakkam area.
Passengers are advised to check the revised timetable before planning their journey.
