The Tamil Nadu government has proposed a new Secretariat and Assembly complex in Chennai’s Pattinapakkam area, with an estimated cost of ₹1,200 crore and around 20 lakh sq ft of built-up area.

The proposed project is expected to include modern administrative facilities and improved infrastructure. The location, proposed design, facilities and connectivity plans have generated considerable interest.
