Chennai Marina Swimming Pool Now Open: Timings, Entry Fee and Online Booking

The Greater Chennai Corporation has reopened the Marina Beach swimming pool for public use after completing renovation works at a cost of ₹1.37 crore.

The swimming pool is open daily from 5:30 AM to 7:30 PM. A dedicated time slot from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM has been reserved exclusively for women.

The entry fee is ₹50 per hour for visitors above 14 years of age and ₹30 per hour for children aged 12 to 14 years. However, those who book their slots online can avail a ₹5 discount, reducing the fee to ₹45 and ₹25, respectively.

According to Greater Chennai Corporation officials, spectators are not allowed inside the swimming pool premises. Visitors are also encouraged to book their slots online in advance to avoid waiting in queues.

The Marina swimming pool remains closed every Monday for routine maintenance.
