West Coast Express to Chennai to Arrive Late on Select Dates in July and August

Southern Railway has announced temporary changes to the arrival timings of the Mangaluru Central–Chennai Central West Coast Express (Train No. 22638) due to maintenance work being carried out in the Palakkad Railway Division.

According to the revised schedule, the train departing Mangaluru Central at 11:45 PM on July 2, 5, 12, 19, 26 and August 2 will arrive at Chennai Central approximately 50 minutes later than its scheduled time.

On July 4, 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, 30 and August 4, the same train will reach Chennai Central with a delay of around 30 minutes.

Southern Railway has advised passengers travelling on the West Coast Express to verify the updated arrival timings before their journey to avoid inconvenience. The temporary revision has been introduced to facilitate essential maintenance works aimed at improving railway infrastructure and ensuring safer train operations.
