The Tamil Nadu Agricultural Engineering Department (AED) is offering farmers easy access to a wide range of agricultural machinery through the e-Vaadagai platform, allowing them to book equipment online from their home or farm without visiting government offices.

The initiative aims to develop barren and uneven land, support timely cultivation, address labour shortages, reduce farming costs, and improve overall agricultural productivity.

- Used for land clearing, levelling, land shaping, and converting fallow land into cultivable farmland.

- Tractor₹500 per hour

- Suitable for various farming operations, including ploughing, cultivation, harvesting, and post-harvest activities.

- Paddy Combine Harvester (Wheel Type)₹1,160 per hour

- Designed for harvesting paddy in dry fields, performing harvesting, threshing, and winnowing simultaneously.

- Paddy Combine Harvester (Track Type)₹1,880 per hour

- Ideal for harvesting paddy in wet fields, helping minimise grain loss.

- Crawler Excavator₹1,910 per hour

- Used for farm pond creation, land development, bush clearing, desilting, and deepening of water bodies.
